⚖️ TERMS OF SERVICE
1. SCOPE OF SERVICE
BlackBox Audio Labs LLC ("we", "us") operates a set of 12 developer APIs, grouped into 3 categories (Privacy & PII Protection, Security & Link Integrity, Data & Media Utilities), accessed over HTTPS using a personal license key. By purchasing a subscription or otherwise accessing the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
2. SUBSCRIPTIONS & BILLING
Access is sold as a recurring monthly subscription (SOLO CORE: one category of your choice, or LABS ALL-ACCESS: all 3 categories / 11 robots). Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time; access remains active until the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — we do not store your card details on our servers.
3. REFUND POLICY
If you're not satisfied with your subscription, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial payment by contacting us at support@blackbox-apis.com. Refund requests made after this 14-day window, or for renewal payments on subscriptions you did not cancel in time, are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, back to your original payment method.
4. LICENSE KEY & ACCEPTABLE USE
Your license key is personal, non-transferable, and must be kept confidential. It may not be shared, resold, or published in a public repository. You agree not to attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication, not to use the service for unlawful processing, fraud, or malware delivery, and not to reverse-engineer or resell the underlying API logic as your own product.
5. AVAILABILITY & MAINTENANCE
We may perform maintenance or infrastructure changes that temporarily affect availability, and may suspend access where activity creates a security, legal, or payment risk. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
The service is provided "as is". Each endpoint performs the specific, documented transformation described in the API documentation (e.g. masking, checksum verification, EXIF stripping) — we do not persist the data you send to these endpoints. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from how you integrate it into your own systems.
7. GOVERNING LAW & CONTACT
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to BlackBox Audio Labs LLC's registered jurisdiction (Wyoming, USA), without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@blackbox-apis.com.
